John Burns: Owner
John opened Christian Street Furniture in the spring of 1998, after the remarkable success of Christian Street Market, originally founded on Christian Street near the Perkins Road overpass. John and his wife, Lisa, started Christian Street with the belief that people in Louisiana would have a profound appreciation for rare and unique pieces from around the world that, until that point, had been relatively unavailable. Christian Street Market grew to exceed all expectations and eventually evolved into what Christian Street Furniture has become today. Continually keeping cultured, John enjoys music, world travel and yoga. Namaste«!
