John Burns: Owner
John opened Christian Street Furniture in the spring of 1998, after the remarkable success of Christian Street Market, originally founded on Christian Street near the Perkins Road overpass. John and his wife, Lisa, started Christian Street with the belief that people in Louisiana would have a profound appreciation for rare and unique pieces from around the world that, until that point, had been relatively unavailable. Christian Street Market grew to exceed all expectations and eventually evolved into what Christian Street Furniture has become today.

Dave Buckingham: Assistant to the Sales Manager (Metairie)
Dave graduated from Wake Forest in 2007 with a degree in Psychology. Dave is an avid sports fan, both as an athlete and a spectator. He has a slightly unnerving love for the stats, which comes in handy while keeping up with his favorite teams: The Red Sox and the New England Patriots. When he's not on the rugby field, you can find him at the store, where he continues to raise the bar with his excellent customer service. It has been noted that in addition to long walks on the beach, he is particularly fond of lobsters with larger than average claws.
